In 2001, vente-privee shook up consumer codes by creating the concept of event-based sales on the Internet: every day, branded products are sold in limited quantities for a limited period of time (between 3 and 5 days), offered at a significant discount and presented in a qualitative manner. In 2019, following its European development strategy initiated in 2006, vente-privee is changing its name to Veepee, a global brand present in 10 countries.

Veepee Switzerland is the result of vente-privee's acquisition of Eboutic in 2016, and of a dual Franco-Swiss shareholding, VP and the Maus Frères group. Veepee Switzerland brings together 50 employees spread over the Lausanne headquarters, our warehouse in Valais and our new sales office in Zurich.

From a generalist specializing in the online clearance of major brands, Veepee has become an expert in all the sectors in which it is present: Fashion, Sports, Home and Decoration, Beauty, Children, Travel, Leisure, Wine and Gastronomy. A partnership with 7'000 brands allows us to offer prices with strong discounts (-50 to -70%) compared to the recommended retail prices. With 5,500 employees and 66 million members worldwide, Veepee achieved consumer sales of €3.8 billion in 2020.
